Kitchen
At the end of the pictured gorgeous galley kitchen there was a little nook with a portable island and a few stools. We decided to best use the space by designing a custom bench with both open and closed storage. There was room beside for a small cabinet that we topped with a rich black stone. We chose a flecked black fabric that is extremely durable for this high traffic zone. The drawer pulls and table are both timeless design elements that fit in with this classic 1950's kitchen. Finally we chose a crisp white paint and contrasted it with black chalk paint, which also hides the tv perfectly. The last detail that is my favorite element of the room was changing out the exterior door for a full glass paneled version that allows you to sip your coffee while looking out to the gorgeous view.
