You don't really need to add icing drizzle to a delicious banana loaf but let me tell you, it is an elevated experience. It also turns any blah store bought loaf in to a fancy dinner party dessert. The color alone is a feast for the eyes.
For my loaf I used a modified Martha Stewart recipe and its by far my favorite banana bread I've ever tasted. I will write that out below for anyone who is interested.

Lemon Blueberry Drizzle Recipe
1/2 cup of frozen blueberries
1/2 stick of butter
2 oz of cream cheese
1/3 cup of yogurt
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 lemon juiced
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend for a few minutes until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to serve (up to 24 hours) and pour over loaf/cake. Garnish cake with berries of choice!

Banana Bread Recipe
stick of butter
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3 very ripe bananas
1/2 cup of plain yogurt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1. heat oven to 350
2. Cream butter, sugar and eggs until well combined
3. Mix dry ingredients together and add to wet mixture and mix in, but do not over mix
4. Add yogurt, banana, and vanilla and combine until mixed
5. Pour in to a greased pan and bake for about 75 minutes. Add more time if fork comes out with residue when loaf is poked.

I hope you enjoy this delicious treat soon!
